Frequently Asked Questions
MOQ, certificates, samples, lead time, payment terms and compostability — the six questions that arrive before every first order.
What is the MOQ?
100,000 pcs per design for custom-printed straws; 10,000 pcs for most tableware items; 50,000 sets for cutlery. Send the item and the print requirement and the exact MOQ is confirmed in one reply.
Which certificates can you supply?
FDA (21 CFR) for the United States, LFGB for Germany, BRC for retail programmes, plus Sedex SMETA, BSCI and ISO 9001. Tell us the destination and the certificate your customer requires.
Do you send samples before an order?
Yes. Stock samples go out in 3–7 working days; custom printed samples take 10–15 days because of the plate setup. Sample cost is credited against the production order.
How long is production?
15–30 days after deposit and sample approval, depending on the item and the print requirement.
What are the payment terms?
T/T 30% deposit and 70% against the B/L copy, or L/C at sight. FOB, CIF, CFR and EXW are all quoted.
Are the products compostable?
Bagasse tableware is moulded from sugarcane pulp and designed for industrial composting; paper lines use food-grade paperboard. Whether a shipment can be sold as compostable depends on the certification your market requires — EN 13432 or ASTM D6400 — so tell us the standard and the matching test report is supplied rather than a generic claim.
