Biodegradable Straws

Biodegradable Straws — Ten SKU Families, ST101 to ST110

Paper, PLA, PP, wheat, reed, bamboo, stainless steel, glass, silicone and reusable PP straws. Straight, flexible and jumbo formats, with custom printing.

A straw is the cheapest item on the table and the easiest to get wrong. A paper straw that goes soft in eight minutes costs your customer more in complaints than the straw itself. So the wall thickness, the soak time and the glue line are specified per SKU rather than averaged across the range.

Buyer questions

How long does a paper straw hold up in a drink?

The 4-ply grade is specified for 2–3 hours in cold drinks; 3-ply stock straws for roughly 1–2 hours. For thick smoothies or bubble tea, specify 4-ply and a thicker wall — we quote both so you compare cost per hour of use, not cost per piece.

Can you print our logo?

Yes, up to 6 colours with food-grade soy-based ink. Minimum for custom print is 100,000 pcs per design. Send vector artwork with Pantone references and a digital proof comes back in 3 working days.

Are paper straws suitable for hot drinks?

No — paper and PLA straws are specified for cold and room-temperature drinks. For hot beverages use PP, which holds its shape at serving temperature.

Which straw fits your market?

Tell us the drink, the temperature and any single-use plastic restriction in your country, and we recommend the grade instead of letting the price decide.
