Cutlery — Wooden, Bamboo and CPLA
Birch and bamboo forks, knives, spoons, sporks and stirrers, plus CPLA cutlery for markets restricting single-use plastic.
Splinters and breakage at the neck of the fork both come from the same cause: the wood was cut too fast and not dried to a stable moisture content. Material is kiln-dried to 8–12% before cutting and sanded twice — once after shaping, once after edge finishing. It costs a little more per thousand and removes the complaint that ends a repeat order.

Is wooden cutlery strong enough for steak?
Specify the 1.6 mm blade in the 165 mm length — thin 160 mm forks flex under load. For ice cream the spoon needs a deeper bowl, which is a separate mould.
Can it be washed and reused?
It is designed as single-use. It survives a rinse, but repeated washing raises the grain and is not a food-safety recommendation.
